Olivia Anderson, M.A., L.L.P.C., N.C.C.

I joined the Counseling Center for Women in 2007.  I am a nationally board certified licensed counselor with a Masters degree in Counseling from Oakland University.  I work with clients on a variety of issues; domestic violence, depression, stress and anxiety.  My specialization is career counseling, coaching clients who are unhappy in their current job or are in transition and coping with a job loss.  I also provide family and marriage counseling to couples and families dealing with issues surrounding communication and/or divorce.  I use Solution Focused Therapy when treating my clients.  Understanding where the issue or behavior comes from is the first step to finding a resolution.  Answers and coping strategies are found from within through therapy and other techniques.  I also facilitate group workshops on goal setting and personal empowerment.

I am a resident of Farmington Hills, and the mother of an adult son and daughter.
